Wojciech Suchorzewski, Professor emeritus from Warsaw University is the CH4LLENGE ambassador. He is a well‐known personality with an extensive network of contacts worldwide (worked for UNDP, ECD, EBRD, World Bank and European Commission) and in experienced particularly in sustainable urban mobility planning. Through Professor Suchorzewski, the CH4LLENGE project receives a well‐known, professional, highly‐respected, and highly visible “face” at European level, helping the project to reach its communication and dissemination objectives. One of his main tasks is to raise awareness for SUMP of decision makers particularly in CEE countries. He will participate in relevant events and conferences or other occasions throughout Europe, with particular focus on CEE countries.
Experiences from previous projects has shown that engaging a well-respected authority has a good potential to raise the interest of higher-level decision makers to participate in innovative projects.
