CH4LLENGE cities will present at Polis Conference

CH4LLENGE will be actively present at the Annual Polis conference where two of our cities Dresden and Budapest will tell about their experiences on Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning. Both cities will contribute to a session called “Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans: Here to stay” and branded as CH4LLENGE session. Dresden will focus in their presentation on one of the crucial parts of SUMP process – monitoring and evaluation, while Budapest will share their experiences of the rehabilitation process of Budapest city centre.

The annually organised Polis Conferences takes place in Brussels on the 4-5th of December 2013, and provides an excellent opportunity for cities and regions to showcase transport achievements to a large audience. For the wider transport community, the conference allows to engage with representatives of city and regional authorities on innovative transport solutions. The two-day conference offers nearly 80 presentations on different topics of urban mobility. This year, Commissioner on transport Siim Kallas will be a keynote speaker. The conference attracts each year between 200 and 300 participants.

The event is organized by the CH4LLENGE partner Polis that is a city network working for sustainable transport solutions. You can now register to the conference and find more information at Polis website
